With the promotion of China’s “dual carbon” goals, energy-saving and carbon reduction in buildings are increasingly being emphasized. Many areas have prohibited or restricted the use of external wall insulation, thin plaster external wall insulation in high-rise buildings, and external wall insulation fixed only by adhesive anchoring. The advantages of prefabricated composite sandwich insulated double-skin walls (commonly known as double-skin walls with insulation layer) are becoming prominent.

Prefabricated composite sandwich insulated double-skin walls are wall panel components made up of two layers of prefabricated reinforced concrete slabs connected by connectors to form a wall panel with an intermediate cavity for insulation purposes. After on-site installation, the cavity is filled with poured concrete to form a wall with insulation function.

Prefabricated composite sandwich insulated double-skin walls do not require grouting sleeves, effectively reducing construction difficulty and building costs. They have advantages such as fire resistance, flame resistance, no mold growth, and thermal insulation.
